Intensive Care Unit
Separate Dog And Cat Wards
Our hospital has separate dog and cat wards to provide a more comfortable and relaxed hospital stay for feline furry friends.
In-House Laboratory
When a physical examination of your pet doesn’t reveal enough for our vets to make an accurate diagnosis, further investigation of their condition may be required. Our well fitted out, in-house pathology lab uses the most advanced, up to date technology for the testing and analysis of blood and urine samples. Comprehensive testing done in-house provides fast results and helps us to deliver an accurate diagnosis of your pets condition.
Comfort And Visitation Room
Rosebery Vet Hospital was designed to provide you and your beloved pets with an experience like no other. We understand that your pets are a valuable part of your family and having to say goodbye to one is devastating. Sadly, it is occasionally necessary for us to euthanise a furry patient if they are too old, too ill or badly injured to recover. We have set up a large, private room where you can spend precious last moments with your special furry friend. Our comfort and visitation room is set up with comfortable furnishings including bean bags, rugs and dog beds and has been designed to help reduce anxiety in nervous dogs. We have ADAPTIL and FELIWAY diffusers which emit calming pheromones for dogs and cats. This helps our furry friends to feel reassured and relaxed in challenging situations, reducing stress and anxiety. It is also equipped with oxygen for those patients who are critically ill and need it. You can use this special space to just sit quietly with your pet, enjoy some cuddles or have a chat with them until it is time for a final goodbye. Once your furry friend is in their final rest, you can discreetly leave via the private exit, when you are ready. For your privacy, the exit from this room is separate from the waiting area.
Advanced Diagnostic Imagery
Highly advanced digital radiological equipment that provides quality images helps our veterinarians to accurately diagnose a patient’s condition. Our x-ray, ultrasound and MRI equipment uses the latest technology to help us investigate internal organs and the skeletal system. We are also equipped with an advanced dental x-ray machine that enables us to get a clearer picture of the condition of your pet’s teeth and gums.
